LB7 tear down
so far...... 3 bad glow plugs which i already knew and under the fuse box under the hood he found a squirls nest and it ate the covers off a few wires he said none of this should be the issue but hes suggesting replacing the 3 bad glow plugs and im off tomorrow so im gonna swing by and see how its going
he said i have to replace the 3 bad plugs before he can move on he said it could be the issue i personally dont think thats the issue but i will replace them so he can continue so far CP3 is drawing well within desired vacuum and is primed hes saying the issue will most likely be glow plugs or injectors or computer related $345 in so far
he said "it being a Cali emissions truck the glow plugs work differently and light longer and stay lighted till the engine reaches a set temp then the shut off its to help burn cleaner and reduce unburned fuel when cold or during warm up of the engine and it is possible that with 3 failed its putting the trucking into default mode and not firing the injectors we can not move on with the diagnostics till we rule out the failed glow plugs"
i highlighted what i think is B.S
