that is debatable. many experts would likely agree that if they did not come out and not loose then no need to replace or reseat them.

for injectors, merchant auto is a good place.

this is another good one; Web Store - Lincoln Diesel Specialties

I need some more help guys. my turbo seems to be "throwing oil" into the boost tube on the drivers side and turbo looks covered in oil inside I just noticed today when I was cleaning parts to get ready to put it back together. what could this be bad seals failing turbo ect? and this is a Texas truck and has a egr should I delete it and if so how would I do it. I know how to on a gasser but no idea on a D-Max. also all 8 cups are crazy tight

check for play in the shaft. in/out, side to side. there may be a little side play but should be virtually none on the thrust bearings. the seals can still be bad with out any play but if there is any play then you can be certain of it

instead of deleting the EGR, consider adding a blocker plate and tuning it out

as for the cups, looks like you can leave them alone. just make sure they are clean inside before putting the injectors back in

I broke down my LB7 most of the way this morning, but I have a couple questions. How did you pull the injectors without upsetting the cups? What tools did you use to disconnect the fuel QD's? I went with a set of injectors and glow plugs from Pensicola diesel. Reviews were pretty good and couldn't beat the price for the set and seal kit. Let me know how the reassembly goes.

I used a kent more injector removal tool with a 2 foot breaker bar with a 3 foot cheater bar. the tool cost me $108. the fuel lines I used my dads fuel line kit idk what it's called but it slides into the quick canector and you just pull it lose. I'm only 16 so I'm not sure what the other tools are called I used some special tools tho for different things. it helps my dads a ret mechanic he had every tool I needed but the injector puller. as far as keeping the cups in it's grit your teeth and hope your lucky
