thanks guys I've been to busy to really look around I'm going to talk to them today to see if they were able to save mine if not I'll get a replacement do you think it would be worth it to buy a dsp5 tunned ECM since I'm going to tune it anyway at some point? and I'm located in Alabama kinda in the middle

If that is your plan down the road, and your wallet can swing it. EFI is the way to go!

 

dealer said even if I buy a aftermarket ECM it will be flashed to stock when installed all ECM are flashed when installed a oem from gm was $1,150.99 he had a used one at a dealer in east al for $390.88 I said get it here it will be here in 2-4 days and we will see what happen bill is around $830 now

 

how much was the DSP5 ECM?

 

$549 with a $349 core charge which I wouldn't gotten back since my ECM is toasted
