i use a laptop and my Efi Live V1 cable (discontinued).
it has a long learning curve and requires a lot of reading, googling and testing to make a good working tune. at the beginning there is the fear and real possibility of engine damage. in time this is replaced with confidence and a good running tune. the hardest part is that this can take years and hundreds of hours of testing, logging, reading, more testing, logging, tuning, etc
it is a long process but a rewarding one

i would hate to tell you to buy a pump an have it still not start. but if you have the money then go for it.
bad CP3s will usually cause low fuel pressure under load run fine under light loads and idling. bad injectors/high return rates will usually cause low pressure while starting or idling but may be fine under load.

only reason im doing it this way is id rather wait 2 months and have the money up again for anything else if this dont work rather then wait two months to scan it cause ill have a new pump this way and i want my truck running and my dad said he would 50-50 a pump with me so we pulled it today what do you think about this pump and does it come with a FRP the picture shows one but the details dont say. and the symptoms were long starts before we parked it usually 7-15 sec of spinning and it was steady getting weaker like when we would pull 21xxx pounds when we got it it pulled it easy right before we parked it we pulled the same 21xxx load (our Dozer) and it was pretty weak like weaker then ever dad had to put it to the floor to get up a few hills and we lost speed before we could gain speed up the same hills if we wanted so i mean worst case after new injectors and now im looking for a pump i shouldnt have to do anything major anytime soon.....also my dad bent a couple lines i hope i can bend em back and not break them
are batmowheels worth it?

i am 99% sure that that pump will come with a new regulator.
on your old pump, take the regulator off and inspect it for obstructions and anything that may block flow. if you find anything then it may make you feel more at ease as to what was causing your problems.
for the batmowheels, everything that i have read about them indicates that they move the power band down in the RPM range. ie: you loose some top end but gain a little in the mid throttle area. most say what they had to do to get one in made it not worth it and would have been better off upgrading to a new turbo. it really depends on how much you value your time. if you are willing to spend the same amount of time it takes to swap turbos plus about $400 for a modest improvement then the batmowheel may be for you. otherwise save up (and put the $400 towards it) until you can purchase a new upgraded turbo

also how hard do you think it would be to replace the turbo sinces it's a ca emissions
#149
do you think that could have damaged the new injector?
if I ever do the turbo I'll go ahead and pull it down port polish the heads head studs and delete all the emissions crap
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
do industrialinjection pumps come with FPRs just wondering if you knew if you dont i'll call em im probably going to buy one from them

if the engine never fired then fuel never went into the injectors so it is not likely that there is any damage. it would be wise to get this flushed out as i was having you do earlier.
port and polishing the heads will only show benefits when you are pushing 1000 HP. the gains are minimal for the amount of work done. with that being said, i still want to do mine though, as i have an extra set of heads that i could use.
all new and rebuild CP3 pumps should come with a regulator unless they specifically state that they dont (rare).
