Default Shuts down

My 1996 6.5 has been intermittentally shutting down, typically at highway speeds. If I don't push the clutch in it seems to start back up, and I have been able to restart with the key immediately. I remote mounted my PMD a couple of years ago, and replaced the fuel filter yesterday. It seems to be a little better, but still shut down a couple of times. Could it be another bad PMD, bad IP, air in the lines, etc? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

No, it seems to run okay. I am planning on putting an new lift pump on as this seems to be the cheapest place to start. The truck is currently sitting until I have time an $$ to work on it.
