Default need help!! rattling noise! thinking its a flexplate or torque convertor?!?

well its a 93 k2500 6.5 and at idle it making a rattling, somewhat of a knocking noise. this noise started out of nowhere, it actually sounded like a heat shield rattling really bad at first but now its horrible. if i rev it slow past around 1500-1700 rpm it stops, its defintaly not the motor cause i drove it a short distance home when it started making the noise, and it still had all the normal power, and shifted perfectly fine. could it be a flywheel(flexplate) or a torque converter? let me know what you guys think. the help would be greatly appreciated as winters here and i cant really drive my 98 gt in the snow

Default rattling noise

It could be the bearings in torgue converter going. I had that happen to my 89 6.2

I had an 83 3500 Crew Cab Dually with the 6.2L. I had the transmission rebuilt. After about 300 miles the torque converter bolts to the flexplate came loose. Sounded terrible. Rattled like crazy. Easy to check.
