Default Real head scratcher.

I have a 1998 K2500 6.5td vin f. I just got the truck not to long ago and it was working fine up untill about a week ago. I drove it home and parked it for the night. Went to start it the next day and it would just whirl over. I left it, went to work, came home and checked the fuel filter and the water drain. checked the connection on the pmd ( which is mounted behind the bumper ) and it took right off, pulled out of my drive way, made it 200 feet and quit. I checked the wires going to the computer found one bared up. fixed that and it started again but there was a little surge driving it. worked for 2 days and quit 4 times driving it home like someone turned off the key. fired right back up but then it quit and wont start. Reading up on here I figured it was the pmd so I replaced it today and it still wont start. The oil guage is showing lots of pressure when I try to start it. Running out of ideas.

LP is working. turn the key and it'll pump fuel out the top of the filter when opened. Was reading up on here, could it be the crankshaft sensor? A buddy of mine had a car that would quit when it got warm or wet cause of it.

Worked on it today and had the local mechanic bring out his scan tool ( not a cheepy diy, $5000 Snap on unit ), no codes, all sensors are good. I was thinking it might of been the crankshaft senor. After he left I moved about the wires behind the glow plug controler and it started. ran for about an hour around town, quit, now it'll start run for a sec then stop. It looks like it going to be a wire hunt on the weekend.

I chased down the wires, cleaned every ground I could find and it is running again but I think there is still one wire that I missed. It has a bit of a surge to it, that was never there before. And it bucks some. I'll be checkin the fuel shutoff solenoid wires.
