so its getting cold in the new england area, and i decided i should start plugging in my truck block heaters. although this is a good idea, there is two plugs on each side of the bumper..

is it one for each head or one for the heater and battery??

i havent had one of these trucks before so i figured someone could give me a hand.

I would crawl under and see where the leads run to.

 

If it's like my old Ford V8 there's an element on either side. Use one or the other, or both if you so choose.

 

i havent had time to look, and thats what i had figured. thanks for the help!

 

so i tracked it, and one goes to the back of the motor in the left corner. i thinkit goes to one of the freeze plugs. and the otherone i cant trace cause the turbo is in the way of seeing it.

i wish i knew!

 

strange, i only have one and myn is canadian. custom touch maybe?
