NEED HELP !! NO FUEL FROM INJECTION PUMP
I have a 93 gmc 3500 6.5 turbo, was running fine. Parked to replace head gasket, all went back together good. Can't get to start. No fuel from IP. Have Mechanical pump. Have fuel to filter. I can hear LP operating. Checked power to F/SOL with test light,OK. What else could stop pump from pumping fuel to injectors?
Thanks for the reply, but I'm just learning and not sure what ops is, or what to do about it. I think I have located the solenoid. I guess my next step is to take the injection pump apart. Not sure, but I have to do something. Any further info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again
Thanks for info. I replaced fuel line between filter and IP, no clogs. And, my LP is wired direct, bypassing ops. I checked solenoid and hear click when energized. That should indicate it is opening, correct? Will not even fire with starting fluid ( wd-40 )
do not used starting fluid you won't have motor for long
