Default poor accelerator response, hard shift 1-2

I have had a problem with this since my PMD went a year ago.
I replaced and remote mounted the pmd on a heat sink.
I installed a shift kit and updated the valave body.
Replaced all of the solenoids.
Replaced the accelerator position sensor- the accelerator itself.

I have a 98 6.5L 3500 w/ 4L80 60K Dump
Sometimes If I push the accelerator down 1/4 of the way slow I get no response. It's a brand new one Last one didn't test bad but They can be a pain so I replaced it for peace of mind. Didn't work, I have no peace.

I have only one code 1-2 solenoid stuck. It's lying to me!
I replaced it twice.
The TCM is calling for full boost and shifting hard into second
Shift feels fine with two tons in the bed
All this Tells me it has no idea where the throttle is.
or I have a combination of bad ground bad TC.
But it all started just after the PCM went bad on the interstate and bucked the crap out of the truck.
Had this problem on a 94 Gas once. Just ran it.

Anyone have this problem.

Thanks, Jack

I would say 60K that's what is on the clock, Truck was a Maryland water dept truck they sell them at 49K. But.... How many idle hours on it while Maryland best sat behind a building eating donuts is anyones guess. It has a new Block in it, but this problem wasn't there when I bought it it started when I put the new PMD in.

The truck runs fine accelerates smooth but looses signal sometimes. I'm thinking it's wire related I put new grounds to the firewall last night, they didn't help.

I'm going to run a ground from the PMD ground to the accelerator and see if that helps.

The accelerator attaches to another module tucked up under the climate control, Do you know what that module is?

make sure you keep PMD grounded to top of the IP and check harness from PMD for shorts maybe it rubbing some where and also make sure the LP is running right

Thanks,

The LP works fine and I have the PMD grounded at the pump. I have the PMD remote installed but it does it with or without the new harness. I'll re-inspect the PMD ground today and give it a cleaning. I want to run a ground wire from the PMD ground to the APS ground anyway.
