Default tires

lookin to put bigger tires on my 1998 6.5 2500. the stock size is LT245/75/16 however i would like to fit somethin a little meatier maybe a 31. would that fit or would i need to lift my truck?

i had 265's on mine w/ stock suspension. and it looked like 285's woulda fit.

yes my bad the stocks are 265's

I have 285 mud tires on my 95 chevy tahoe and they clear no problem without a lift. The front tires did rub a little but I just cut the corner off of the plastic piece that fits under the bumper and that problem was fixed

mine came from the factory with 245s. depends what option boxes you checked when you oredered i guess
