Default Arp studs

Im looking at possible getting head studs, is taking the head off required or can i just replace with the arp studs and is it recommended to put in a new gasket.

recommended put new gaskets if you just try replace bolts to stud when you loosen the bolt the gasket can't be retork

ya that makes sense, what is a recommended gasket for this engine?
