no i pulled the air filter and truck ran perfect so put a new fram in and started it again will start and idle ruff at first then smooths out ontill you aply gas pedel took new filter out and no change please help and thanks for replying

 

is this on every start or just cold start

i just went back reading you post check PMD harness and it could be PMD going bad

 

every start an around 600 rpm

my pmd was moved before i got truck on top of intake when i start the truck the pmd gets hot used a ez tech lazer to see how hot around 200 deg f why and should it be engine is not hot at all only ran for maybe 5 min when i checked the temp of the pmd

starting sound like bad PMD and did you check and clean all grounds

i see your PMD on the intake witch still not good place and is the PMD still grounded to top of the IP


do know anyone with spear PMD you can try

 

 

This does sound like a pmd issue. I would get a long harness, the four foot one and move it behind the bumper with a good heat sink.
