Engine stalling, fuel pump?
Hi, I've had a gmc savanna cargo truck since 2002. In 2005 I found a guy who replaced the fuel pump for me as the engine had started cutting out randomly and often. Apparently there is some kind of lens that detects dirt( for smog purpose)and when it goes bad the entire pump needs replacing. We also had the fuel tank cleaned out. Been running fine till now. Same problem. Can't find the guy again and gmc dealer will probably want serious cash to replace the pump. Is there a way of bypassing this lens yet( if it is a lens)does anyone no what I'm talking about, or am I full of ****!!

Do you have any codes and where is your PMD mounted IP or front bumper
need to do some easy testing first check being 97 out 12v power right to LP see if it working
