6.2l diesel need help getting it started

Default 6.2l diesel need help getting it started

ok so i had it all apart and had the injection lines off to replace the valve cover gaskets

ive cranked it over a good bit with the lines cracked open at the injector and still dont have any fuel coming out


is there a way to prime these motors?

sound air bound try pulln the line at fuel pump see if u have fuel comn out wen u crank it, pump sounds air bound ,that has mech. pump on block ,unless it was changed electric one, let me no how u make out!

me and dad got her runiing but my brand new rebuilt trans wont shift into third gear SOB

Best mod is to get a fuel pump blank, and run an electric fuel pump instead.

check the plugs at trans and all the grounds

there are no plugson trans one wire and 1 vaccum line its an 83

try a new modulator, they are pretty cheap. also check the steel vaccum line that runs from the front of the engine to the transmission, mine is all rusted shut, had to bypass it.
