Default GARBAGE OIL COOLER LINES

Hey, just finishing up my tranny rebuild and decided to clean up the oil leaking on my 6.5l also. I decided to re-do my engine oil cooler lines in the process, and have found that standard 1/2 inch hyd lines available from a fleet farm store fit perfect. That way I could get rid of the garbage DOORMAN or equivalent leaky replacement lines. Just working on adaptors to fit the oil cooler threads to npt thread.I have lathe acess at work.
By the time I am done I will have 50 bucks in it total, and never have to worry about leaks again! If anyone is interested in the swap over let me know.

Are the fittings on the block side on the 98 the same as the 93? If so I am interested in the details of your swap. Pictures?

Not sure. On my truck the OEM snap into oring seals threaded in the block just above the oil filter, between the block and exhaust manifold. The thread size in 1/2 inch npt in the block. Best guess would be to call a parts store and see if they hose/fittings interchange. i should be able to get some pictures this weekend. I will start machining the adaptors for the oil cooler this next week. dunno if the oil cooler is the same on yours as mine....
