Swapping a 1993 6.5 with lower kms into my 95 as my motor is experiencing a lot of blow by. My harmonic balancer broke on the drive home (2.5 hour drive) and I didn't even hear it and that screwed my old motor up now im swapping in this 93 6.5. I am changing the injector pump over and a couple other things. Can I use the 93 wiring harness in the 95? I don't think I can but my harness is all screwed up so I thought id ask. also any tips or suggestions would be awesome. I will take pictures of progress then post! Also will be parting out the 93.

 

You will need to stick with the 95 harness so it can connect with the IP.

The IP requires electronic timing and only a tech 1,tech 2 with OBD 1 expansion pack or GMTD ScanTech can accomplish this.
You will also need to install a 94+ timing chain set and balancer on the 93 shortblock along with the 95 timing cover with CPS.
