Default Head casting cunundrum

Ok I have two sets of heads for my 6.2 with the following casting numbers:
14077162 heads that are on my 83 truck which had a bad head gasket.
10137567 heads that are on a newer 90's 6.2 with a blow rod.

I bought this truck for a donor motor swap for my 84 dually. The kid I bought it from took the 83 apart and said the original 83 head just didn’t look as good as the newer one and took a few of the valves out. So he purchased the 90's motor for a head donor, but was only going to use one head. I think the original head is ok just maybe lap the valves and should be good to go.

Question is: are either number better than the other, can I use one of each head or do I need to replace them as a set, what are the differences?

I have been told tha tthe injectors are different (fine and corse threads) but I took an injector from the 90's motor and it screwed right in to the 83 head.

Thank you in advance and any help would be greatly appreciated.

The injectors are the same thread. 82 was the only year they used coarse thread. I would switch both heads. They did some minor changes but the big one would be whether it is a j or a c engine. If you use both heads it will not mater.
