Im looking for a 6.5L mechanic in the hampton roads/virginia beach VA area.... I just want a good tune up and to get all the fluids replaced/ belts replaced or anythng that a 107k mile motor needs.... I plan on doing a massive roadtrip in the near future (4k miles plus) and I dont want any problems to come up...

Looking for a 6.5L guy not just a regular mechanic.....

best suggestion i can give you is to take out the phone book and start calling diesel shops and ask them for guys that have experince with the 6.5.

I plan on adding..
SS Diesel 3"-4" down pipe
SS Diesel 4" exhaust
" " FSD heat sink kit
" " performance wastegate actuator
eventually buying the ECM upgrade.......

Is this the right route to take?

Thanks for any help in advance........ also any maintenance items that I should get out of the way now since its at 100k?
duramaxes don't make power silly

yeah your right

its all good, I realized im not going to dump a ridiculous amount of money into this truck like I planned, but rather use it as it was intended, towing my toys around and putting the occasonal dodge or ford gasser in its place..bone stock haha

Im moving back home to WI, Ill be sure to post some late night 2wd parking lot fun, not much else to do in the winter there, ( that doesnt involve drinking) haha.. I will definitely be pushing the boundries of 2wd diesel fun... Its also nice that nearly everybody with a 4wd is a phone call away should I get into too much trouble
