diamond eye is a good choice. check my thread for details. if you want turbo whistle you can get a ss diesel air intake but it will hurt your engine performance a little bit since it sucks all the hot air out of the engine. add a tune to raise boost and you will get even more

So just hopped in the truck and the check engine light came on.....went to autozone and it came up as P0251 = INJECTION PUMP METERING CONTROL the truck has been acting a little funny, like maybe it loses 20 percent power when im on the throttle steady....... like a slight surging....

I hope this isnt costly or did any serious damage to my truck......

Any thoughts guys?

Is this the infamous pmd or something else?

It could be the pmd. If it was me I would go ahead and relocate it to the bumper. I would doubt it hurt the engine.

Just looking at the pictures and noticed the cap in place of the turbo silencer. I would make sure it is in there reel tight or replace the whole air box tube with a older one. If that cap falls out it has only one place to go right through the turbo.

I will probably replace the intake tube with a silicone hose, def could cause some damage if it got sucked it....

I will move the pmd since it needs to be done anyway, hope that is the only real problem, I need this thing to last

most have them i think. is there a plug in your engine bay somewhere on the drivers side. or you can look at the freezeplugs and see if any have a heater

Just did my first burnout in this truck, sat and roasted both tires for about 10 seconds and filled a small parking lot with smoke....haha It must have a posi? 2 solid black lines....

the occasional burnout is a good stress reliever....but I dont want anything to break so that will probably be the last time...just had to make sure it could do it
