Default 6.2 Engine Brake?

Ive been trying to do some research for an engine brake for a NON-Turbo 6.2 and havent been able to find out if its possible....

New project, son found and bought an 4cyl toyota diesel for his wrangler.. so im starting my own 6.2 project body yet to be decided.

Anyone know if you can put a engine brake on a non turbo?

Thanks again. this site ROCKS!

I don't know why you couldn't put and exhaust brake on a 6.2 but I don't know any one who makes one.

I don't know about that my 6.2 will tow every bit as much as any 6.5 I ever had. Now I am not say in your going to set any land speed records with it heck I wouldn't race a snail with it you'll probably lose but mid 20's mpg you get over it quick. The only reason I would put one on it is if you live in a hilly area and want to save the brakes. I would try calling some turbo manufactures like banks or any of them just because its not on there web site doesn't mean they don't have one its just a flap in the exhaust.

another thing the 6.2 tugs the mil. used on air bases have engine retarders to help slow down when pullin aircraft. all they are are the heads with a switch to turn on and off.
