Question Whats too big?

How big is too big for exhaust on the 6.5. I got 4inch downpipe to 5inch to the front of rear tire. Is 8 inch too big? or would you go for the looks to **** everybody else off.

POWER TO THE 6.5!!!!!!

an 8 inch tip would look stupid. i think a 5" tip would even look dumb if its going on that tahoe.

I thinkin about puttin it where my exhaust is now or shhould I keep it 5. I have a pic with the 5 on in my album. so is 8 too big though?

Im turning it to a dually so I can put some meats under the rear. I am going to put stacks on and ponderin 8" all the way to 12" and putting them in front of the fender flareouts my ? is will it be too wide and gaudy or should I run like everybody else the norm 5"-6"? thats what I mean and thats what I should have said and to the previous poster Im loud and proud!!!!!

loud and proud has nothing to do with a choice of styling. have you ever heard an 8" tip before? first off it looks stupid second of all it sounds just as retarded as it looks. and i was saying especially on a little 2 door tahoe, the tip being that big just make the car look even smaller its weird looking.

and also loud and proud with a 6.5l is an oxymoron. they are not very loud at all

Yea well my 6.2 with no exhaust is loud!

Look it's your truck put whatever size exhaust you wan't on it you have to drive it.
But if you want my opinion I would run 4"all the way out the back
