my 6.5 turbo diesel just shuts off!!

Now that's what I was thinking..The guy I bought it from said it was new..came with a year warranty..I also bought a second hand one from him for a spare..that came with a one month warranty..maybe both off them are second hand for all I know!!!!

i would not trust it unless it was a brand new d tech or standdyne pmd new in the box

Just curious if you got your truck running properly.. mine is running fine now, didn't shut down in a long while.. I'm thinking it was water in the fuel.

Default diesel machine just shuts down

Answer: my problem was it would run and just plain shut down on its own. i could restart after a while. as it turns out i blew compressed air through the supply line back into the tank and it cleared filth and obstruction in the tank. I was back in business just need to shop vac the tank out using a pvc pipe .

Go yo PMDcables.com they g=have everything you need and you will get it very speedy. Well i did any ways.

Default my gmc doesnt have a throttle braketis it on injector pump

mine has been doing the same but its the plug in the harness thats been giving me the problems. where the stock pmd plugs into the jumper lead.

i would also check the grounds on the back of intake manifold on the pass side there is 4 grounds check those

Guys, if you have a problem and you're not the original poster; Start a separate thread.

"Piggy backing" on someone else's post just makes the whole thread confusing and will most likely mean your question just gets lost or won't be answered....
