I can't say that it got any worse after I added the new PMD, I will say that I still have the problem, the ecm keeps throwing the same two codes, PO236 ad 238. The ses light is on and off as I drive. I have been driving it as is and had no other problems. If you find a solution to the problem, please post it up as we have been unsuccesful so far.

mine does the same thing all the time, i have the egr system on my truck but its pretty much disconnected, the vacuum pump had been toast for quite awhile before i got it and the engine light was always off. in the summer heat the truck kept going into limp mode all the time, and shutting down completely on the really really hot days. it already had the pmd relocated to the intake mani with a heat sink, so i lengthened the wire and mounted the pmd behind the bumper. was fine for awhile but has recently starting going into limp mode all the time again....check engine light is always on now, has been since it died one day in the summer

Sorry guys I kinda forgot about the thread. I'm pretty sure that larry is right on this one. I've just been dealing with the problem, since I really don't have the money for a performance ecu. I would love to know what changed to cause the problem. If anyone has any insights on that please feel free to comment.
