Default Brakes drums

I broke off a wheel stud and I was gonna replace it but when i got my tire off I noticed that i think theres gonna be more involved than what I planned on. I've got a 95 6.5td it's the heavy 2500 and I think the drums actually bolt on to the axle is this rite?

got a haynes manual? It has a nice step by step on taking the hubs/drums apart. I can find mine if you need me to look it up just too lazy to go out to the truck right now.
