lost fuse then lift pump now won't start
2001 gmc 6.5 Detroit turbo diesel
first the 20 amp fuse that controls the computer blew. then trouble with the anti lock brakes. then lost the lift pump. truck was running great. changed the lift pump and fuel filter and bleed it thru but it won't start, injecters wont open. is this a computer loop, codes not resetting or pdm. how do I check? help! I'm mechanical not a computer wizard.

Sounds like a major power problem to effect so many things. Maybe a short to ground in a wire or component that blew the fuse.

Find electrical connector for and disconnect fuel heater, look for a short pigtail w/ 2 wires exiting the bottom of the fuel filter manager housing. Not to be confused with the WIF Sensor which has 3 wires..
Replace both ECM 20amp fuses.
Prime and/or purge fuel system.
Try starting nomally again.
good luck
