Default 6.2 blow by question

I have an 83 blazer 6.2 banks kit and so on it seems to make a lot of blow by at idle. The truck starts good. Doesn't seem to have low compression. Is this a 6.2 thing or do I have a possible problem. Thanks in advance.

Some blow by is normal for 6.2/6.5's (a little smoke from the oil dip stick tube) and have you cleaned the CDR valve lately? a clogged CDR valve will cause excessive blow by.

How do you service the cdr valve and where is it the blow by tube comes off of the fill tube down a hose and out. Thanks
