Default Post engine swap DS4 issues.

Hello from NJ! After coming back to this site numerous times and reading threads to solve problems, I figured it was time to join and ask for some real help. I know this is a constant issue, but after countless hours of reading and trying to solve the problem, I need to ask. My issue : 1998 Silverado 2500 6.5td with 98 cast block. I lost my last engine (oil cooler line failure.... big time) and just finished dropping in abother 98 cast block with a complete rebuild. All harnesses are connected, all fuel lines, etc connected. NO FUEL TO INJECTOR LINES. Lift pump works great, fuel flows from T-valve when when open. Solenoid pulled and tested, holds open. Tested with Optical sensor unplugged, no joy. Two PMD'S tested, no joy. Fuel flows from solenoid port when removed. Low voltage code to air pressure sensor and turbo sensor......
Can the OPS affect the pump on a 98? I haven't tested it yet.
The pump and lines were the ones that were running the truck before engine failure, do I need to do some kind of calibration?
20 man hours invested in troubleshooting the pump between myself and a mechanic buddy. We have never had so much trouble with a diesel IP!!!!

Are you plugging the pmd into a remote cable or directly into the pump. I had this issue after a IP replacement. Turns out it was a bad PMD relocation cable. If you Don'g get fuel to injectors as you describe it sounds like pmd issues, whether is the pmd, or cable. Don't quote me I am not as versed as others on this site. Just my 2 cents.

SS, thanks for the reply. Any amount of info or experience is appreciated at this point. After running the troubleshooting procedure from accurate diesel all the way through last night, I ordered a PMD. we tried with and without the remote cable. Cable tested good, but no voltage back from the pmd. If this isn't it, I'm not sure what we will do. I should find out tomorrow morning sometime. I just can't see how the pump would be bad, after running before, even though it's still hard to believe the pmd is bad after running before.

Takes a long time to bleed air from fuel lines.

I would also verify the fuel pressure at the IP to confirm LP operation and fuel filter can flow fuel.
