An oil cooler and transmission oil cooler, and yes you do because this can mean the difference between ruining bearings or transmission clutchs because oil after 250* is useless and is ruined..

Might want to get ahold of Lubrication Specialists or Leroy Diesel and check into a replacement remote engine oil cooler for a 6.5 diesel-should work great.

When you have questions about your own truck you really need to click the new thread icon in the 6.5 page and ask your question fresh, tacking it on another thread is considered thread stealing and is frowned upon.

Doing it 2 times in 1 day prompted me to encourage you to begin your own threads even if your problems seem similar to others-it's much more polite to do so.

If you need an engine oil cooler kit,Leroy Diesel.com or lubrication specialists.com can sell an upgraded version with much higher qua;lity oil lines than GM supplied and are a goto upgrade for these trucks-mmandadtory really.
