Default Head Gasket

Ok so my van has 353.000 miles and it needs a passenger headgasket. well i figured i would send it to a shop to replace the gasket and they told me they do not want to do it because 2 weeks after they replace the gasket the engine wil blow up.. now has anybody heard of this before? or is he just not wanting to do the job?

I would never take anything to that mechanic again.Thats just a **** poor excuse not to work on your truck because they probably no nothing about 6.5 TD's.

Not a fun job on a van-on a side note I would do both sides at the same time and have the heads gone through or replace with new aftermarket heads that are better quality than OE.
