Default smoking in the mornings

I have a 93 Chevy 3500 with the 6.5 turbo diesel. Its runs really ruff in the morning when i start it up. I was thinking it was only a cold start problem but now also does it if I the engine is hot and i cut it off for a min or so. The smoke coming out of the tailpipe looks mainly white but not really blue. I have seen trucks burn oil but i don't think this is the case. My theory is that when i cut the key off diesel is flooding one of the cylinders. I'm guessing that this issue would be caused by a injector and not the actual injection pump. This is where im stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

worn out and leaky injectors are the culprit of your issues
