Default 6.5 wierd stalling

Ok guys, I am having stalling problems again but this time it has me stumped!! I drove to school today and back which is a good 4-5 mile drive and it ran fine all day long, i get home and i realize it that time of the year to get oil changed and my fuel filter changed, so i pop the hood and open the valve to make sure there is no water, it runs for about of minute and dies, so i let it sit 10 min, rough start up. so it runs 2 min and shuts off again, so i let it cool and in the mean time, i replace the fuel filter, start is back up after 10 min, it stalls within less than a minute, i got it started back up and starts missing real bad so than i reversed it and put it in its spot and its missing than it just stops like a snap of a finger and runs just fine, so i took it around the block and got it up to 45 mph and got the temp valve to open up and ran just fine after that, has anyone ever had it do this to them??? PLEASE HELP!!

ps from august till now, i have new PMD from D-tech with #9 resistor with a heat sync, new glowplugs and wires, new OPS, New fuel sending unit, new return lines, new IP last august when i got it, and its has a full tank of diesel

I would say the sock on the fuel sending unit is restricting fuel flow.

Then when you changed the fuel filter it had to clear air from the system.

I just changed the sock last month, that pisses me off. so i been driving the last couple days and its been missing when i idle and when im in Drive, it will cut out and untill about 180 and than stops

i read online on a site and it said, somthing about a head gaskets being blown but it doesnt explain the missing, it just explains the cutting out, oh and when it misses, the oil pressure jumps to like 55-60.

Since it is temp related you might want to get a scan tool connected to check what temp the ECM is seeing-might be a bad temp sensor giving bad info below operating temp?

Of course a blown head gasket explains the miss-no/low compression will for sure cause a miss and a blown head gasket leaks compression in almost every case-coolant gets into a cylinder and compression gets into the cooling system.

Aftermarket sending units are sent with the wrong tank sock-the mesh is too fine and it restricts fuel flow-replace with the original GM sock or remove completely and add an inline screen between the sending unit and the LP.
