Default My 1998 chev 6.5 keeps stalling

Hi i make a 1998 chev 6.5 diesel truck, It keeps stalling on me at idle and when we drive it almost like its losing a connection or losing fuel. injection pump was replaced at 63000 and has 100,000 on it now.do you have any reasons why this is happening.

OK dude you most likely have a pdm going out simple fix , i would recommend a remote mount PDM like under the bumper . first look and see if yours is black or gray probably black . Gray is an upgrade, its on the side of your injector pump. go on ebay kits are like 150. or so <mine was 135> with new PDM . and make sure it comes with the resistor, it will be remote mount heat sink and cable kit, and PDM. or for the same price go to autozone spend more change yours in about 2 hours time, they are a bitch to unbolt, kit just plugs in.

Pump Driver Module , it controls the fuel flow, don't think the injector pump is bad they cause a hole different set of issues, trust me i have gone trough some. and besides most gm/ stadyne pumps out last the truck. kit takes about 45 min to install or an hour if your real picky and beer is involved. and believe me remote mount is the way to go
