tuning for 6.5 TD
#2
You have a few options. You have Heath Diesel's Max-e-Tork. They have two "basic" tunes, either tow or performance. This are full ECM replacements, so you swap out your computer, and plug the Max-e-Tork in its spot. Website claims something like 65 HP, but thats probably a tad high. The Max-e-Tork is the programmer i have. I had it installed for about 30 minutes, and it was AWESOME!! Could definitely feel the difference. Reason i had to take it out is because my Injection Pump isn't timed right, and after the 'inital learn period' performed by the Max-e-Tork, it discovered that the timing was off, and runs like crap now. So have to get that in to get fixed.
Your other option is a KOJO Tune by Walking J Designs. I don't have one, but a few members do and i hear a lot of good things about them.
Bill over at Heath Diesel has been very informative. I have called him over 10 times the past week, and hes always there to answer any questions.

94,95 is a chip replacement-96+ is full ECM replacement.
As mentioned
Heath,Kennedy,KOJO are all good options.
For 94,95 Buddy tunes are available that are 3 or 6 switchable tunes.
