Default headlight issues

Ok 1995 GMC 'Burban 6.5 l k2500

issue that just popped up after a few weeks of cold weather. When I turn on park lights the bright beams come on and stay on. Even when switch to moved to headlights on - bright stay on. Moving/operating multi function switch dims go on and off but bright stay on. High beam indicator on dash stays lit and changes brightness when operating multi function switch.

I changed out the headlight switch and it didnt fix it. I unplugged the multi function switch and brights stay on. So anyone run across this issue ? Fix ? Ideas ?

high beam relay burnt ?

Sounds like it might be a DRL issue.

The DRL have never worked since I got this Burban. Thinking it being a '95 I honestly didnt think it had them. Can I just unplug the module and carry on or does it complete the headlamp circuit ?
