Default 1995 shortbead extend cab 6.5L turbo

Anny one know what gear ratio my truck come with its a 1995 shortbead extend cab 6.5L turbo. I am hoping it is one of the more MPG friendly ratios offered vs a towing package one.

Get your local GM dealer to run the vin and they can tell you from the RPO codes what ratio it came with.

Look in your glove box for the RPO codes. Find the rpo code thats starts with GT, such as in my case, its GT4. Then open this link, and scroll down till you find the correct code number. Ultimate RPO codes - Chevrolet Forum - Chevy Enthusiasts Forums Like in my case, i have 3.73

If its a 3/4 ton i would guess the gears could be 3.73, better for fuel economy or 4.10 better for towing

Comprehensive Chevrolet, Saturn, GMC, Hummer, Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Geo, Dodge, Plymouth, Jeep, Chrysler, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda Truck, Mercedes VIN Decoder
