Default 1995 cummins turbo

I have a 1995 cummins 12 valve. The truck is totally stock except 4 inch exhaust and the fuel plate has been slid forward. I just bought a brand new hx35 factory turbo. It has billet wheels and shaft and I would really like to get 40 psi out of her. I'm not worried to much about hurting the turbo. It's pretty tough. What do I need to do. Thanks guys

Why is it necessary to run 40 psi?

More power . I know that after like 35-40 psi is just blowing hot air but I'd like to get it up to that

more boost does not always mean more power ... but if you just looking for a boost number a boost elbow will get you the psi you want.
