Default 95 k2500 won't come out of 4wd

Got a 95 k2500 6.5 that in 2wd the cv joints still spin and when I take hard turns the whole truck makes a loud knock and smoothness out. T feels like the u joints are binding and the truck is still in 4wd. Just put new tires on not sure if that has anything to do with it. Any ideas?

Thanks

It sounds like the actuator is sticking try pulling the fuse for the 4WD and see if that will reset it if not pull the actuator out and inspect it and maybe spray it with WD40

The CV joints have to spin-they are connected directly to the frt wheel hubs holding the wheels that are turning.

It might very well be that you have a bad CV joint,U joint or it is stuck in 4wd but you need to investigate further.
