Default trans still acting up

okay i have posted before but thought i would give it another shot. i have a 1996 k3500 witha 4l80e.this is the second trans in the truck with the same issue. the main issue is over drive. it will go in to overdrive but doesnt want to stay in unless the situation is perfect. usually but not always if im towing something it will stay in or if im over 95kph. drop below 95 and it drops to 3rd. also when it drops out of overdrive if you slowly put the throttle down it will go back in to overdrive. climbing a hill it will also stay in OD because the throttle is being pushed. the trans does not slip that know of because it does fine pulling a 30ft trailer. other issue is going slow only somedays it seems like it is reving high like it is in first or second gear and it doesnt want to shift to a higher gear. pull out on the highway and hammer on it and it will go through the gears like a brand new truck until you settle on a speed in overdrive for a minute or two then it starts to want to kick back to 3rd. also when it kick to 3rd and revs up if you take your foot off the throttle there is a delay of a few seconds. it will keep reving although your not pushing the throttle. i have installed a brand new pmd to try it and it did nothing and i also replace the throttle pedal it self and no change. the throttle is erratic sometimes. sorry for the rant
