They changed the belt box intake with the new design bikes in 06 (05 for the 800) and it's now above the fuel tank next to the engine air intake.

I've had my bike submerged up to the fuel cap and it chugged along fine....belt box stayed dry.

right now i have a 98 Polaris express 300 two stroke it was a damn good atv, until i blew the rings out now im waiting for the piston, rings rod, and bearings to do a rebuild. it was quick though

I look at it this way. I used to race Polaris Snowmobiles. Every year it was different. One year Ski Doo had the best sled, next year Polaris and next year AC. But there is one constant in the ATV world. Polaris is King!

polaris sucks thats why they are constanly in the shop, never own a polaris anything

your one of the lucky ones than all three of my bothers have polarises and have nothing but problems i hear way more stories about the time there quads spend in the shops than they do spend time out on the trails. stick with a can-am or a honda well worth the money. but cant say anything bad about them artic cats have had a couple of them there great machines

My home town has a Polaris, Cat and Bombardier dealer. The Polaris dealer sells circles around the rest. I'm not gonna say that Yamaha and Honda are bad rides as they are not but my experience of working them on the farm, out west and all around handling the Polaris is the top. Best ride and overall user friendly performance especially over Yamaha. Remember, this is just in 4x4 quads. I tend to like Yamaha racers.

Polaris all the way-We have 3 of them, no problems and ride them alot over rough conditions all the time.
We have an 04.5 500 Sportsman,97 Explorer and a 95 300 Explorer
