The tweakers around here have been doing this for a while now.

They slide under w/ a sawz-all and slide out the other side to the next car. The cops got one of em though....idiot cut 1/2 his hand off and ended up in the ER.

The cops are just now starting to bust down on the recycling centers for buying the stolen metals...so now they are just selling em to small muffler shops.

Buddie of ours runs a small shop and some guy walked up to him a few weeks ago and asked him if he'd like to by 10 'like new' cats. He said sure bring them by tomorrow. Then he called the cops. The guy was dumb enough to show up the next day too.
