from what I was told cats off of a diesel arent worth as much as a cat off of a gasser. When my husband was a mechanic for Ford a guy use to come around once a month and buy the old/used cats he asked him one time how much he would pay him for his old cat and the guy said "if its off a diesel $25-$35" but he really didnt even want to buy it at all because he wouldnt really make anything off of it.

Even at $35.00 each, 125 cats gives you $4375.00
Not bad, even if it took a week to get them all...

Dothan Alabama........HUGE yard there......

most converters at the cheapest are worth about 75.00 up to 200.00 at the big yards like the one in Dothan, if you can get a huge load from a yard you can make about 6-7K a trip.......

good lucking getting them from any local yards, they know how much they are worth and will sell them for that.....if you can get a place that you can buy them for like 25 a piece then haul them over to AL and sell them it would be worth it.......

Maybe I mispelled ferrous, but no... Unless lead is now a ferrous metal; I mean non-ferrous. That is if I catch someone under my rig they will be on the receiving end of a 230 grain lead (non-ferrous metal) bullet.
