Staffing agencies fill over 80% of the professional positions available. Less than 10% of the jobs available are listed in the paper and less than 6% or filled on the internet. Find a staffing agency that specializes in your line of work and you will get much better results.

I have never had any luck with a "Headhunter".

I didnt say headhunter, I said Staffing Agency. Thats all we will use when I'm hiring new Engineers or Field Engineers. Well...except when there is someone we want to steal from another company.

I found my current job on Monster.com

Before that it was either knowing the right people or by responding to an ad in the paper...
