I am so sorry girl i thought u were taking an anitbiotic.
Thats just as important then the pain med cause as u know it gets the infection down and then gone. Hollie Mollie I can't believe they didn't.
I hope ur little girl gets to feeling better.

 

the dentist we talked to today was pretty pissed when we told her he didnt write me a prescription for a antibiotic. She said that when I come into tomorrow to bring his contact information and any paperwork he gave me while I was there. She also gave me a huge list of things to do tonight like put ice on it for 30 min and then 30 min off over and over, then put a tea bag on the tooth and that when I go to sleep to take two generic ibuprofen and 1 pain pill. Hopefully she will get it all figured out tomorrow this makes me wonder if what the first dentist told me is really whats even wrong.

 

1/2 bottle of whiskey does the same thing......matter of fact just go ahead and pdo the root canal yourself, cause after that much you wont be feeling much of anything.....on a serious note, ive had alot of friends get root canals and some about died from the pain but others never had more than a very light ache, i dont know from experience though, i have never had a cavity or any type of dental problem.....

 

I have to wait till next week to get my root canal done. I just got back from the dentist and they said that my swelling is so bad they wouldnt be able to completly numb my mouth. Im on a antibiotic now and she said that that alone will get rid of alot of the pain by reducing the swelling. Im just ready for this crap to be over with. The dentist I went to today took the other dentist information from me and said that he can get in alot of trouble for not giving me a antibiotic because a infection like this can kill me. I dont know if she is going to report him or not but I know she is pretty pissed about the whole thing.

 

Dang girl that just really sucks. I am glad you got a good doctor now and atleast got on antibotics. It was just crazy that the other dentist didn't.

Sad that their are some who are clueless. It is very dangerous to have any kind of infetion epscially dental related so close to your brain.
