i hate professional motorsports, cut the pay to 1/4 of what they are making now, drop the price of the motors, and let some real racecar drivers in and see how long before those over paid pansies get a taste of real racing.....

IMHO Logan ...Nascar and motor sports are one of the last that isnt full of bullshit like steroids ........giving false winnings out there

true some car teams try to do mods that aren approved but they get caught in the end consiquently moving them backwards in points and winnings

athletic type sports are way over priced and ya cant hardly afford a seat even if ya wanted to go see a bunch of asshats on roids

bottom line on all this type of stuff is as long as peeps like you and I keep payin the cash for seats then the drivers/athlets will continue to be paid way too much for what they do

IMHO they all are over paid

I have driven a nascar and I guaranty you it is not an easy 500 miles. I was only able to drive 160 mph, the pro's do that in the corners.

It is all about getting what you can, people are never overpaid if someone is willing pay them.

MY OPINIONS have not been endorsed my Diesel Bombers.

well since i do have a degree in that field, i work for 2 race teams now, one of those teams i am a jack man, the other team i will probably be working as the shop manager within the month at his new raceshop, both of those are super latemodels, the other guy that is working with me on the teams is buying a FASTRUCK to race and iwill be crewchief of it part time, i also was a tech inspector for 5 years at my local track plus working for a team for 2 years after that, so my depth of the sport of NASCAR and auto racing is a little deeper than you think..... the real racecar drivers are the ones that roof houses all week, work at the local chevy dealer as a mechanic or is turning wrenches at his own shop, or works at a factory 10 hours a day, feeds 2 kids and a wife, pays the bills and still makes it to the track on saturday night and wether he wins or loses still comes back next week, its the guy that knows if he blows a motor or *** packs the wall too hard he WILL NOT race the next week cause he cant afford to rebuild it, its the guys that run the local dirt tracks and pavement bullrings that beat and bang and fight for first no matter how far back they are, its the guys that come up in the stands at the races to sign a little kids autograph or give them a ride in the racecar, not hide behind a chain link fence.......talk to Racer9 or Radio Flyer and see if im not right, both of those guys will tell you the same thing........these boys dont race for money, fame or fortune, they race to race......PERIOD.

its been almost 5 years since i was at a nascar race, it sucked and still does, i wont even watch it on TV, i would of rather spent the money to go to 10 dirt races at my local track.......

Have you forgot where NASCAR came from and all the drivers that is consists of? Do you think these guys woke up one day and where instantly professional race car drivers? No, they were roofers, mechanics, welders, construction workers, etc. They worked their tails off the get where they are. They proved that they were better than the average guy and have made their way to the spotlight and most of them deserve to be there. If it were you in their position you certainly wouldnt be complaining that you have too much money and top notch equipment. Real race car driving has nothing to do with money or lifestyle. It has everything to do with having a passion to race and being good at it. Everything else is a fringe benefit. Just as the ancient Roman times...the people come to see the gladiators wage war and are willing to pay whatever it takes to get that entertainment. The gladiators should be paid for their fight.

most of the guys that are under 30-35 in NASCAR today have never worked a real job, all they have done is raced because their mom and dad had a fat wallet to keep writing checks for newer, better, faster racecars......they started in karts, went to midgets, then to sprints, then to pavement stock cars, and on to busch then nascar.......i aint saying they are bad drivers, they just need to get back to their roots a little bit, look at Dale Jr.....he got pissed cause his mom wouldnt sign the company over to him so he went to Hendricks......his fathers number 1 opponent for the last 6 or 7 years of his life....
