I just found this today and figured I'd share. If you want to search any part of craigslist.org in multiple cities or states you can use:

I found this really easy to use.
You just ad in the states you want to look in or you can even narrow it down by cities of the states you picked. Then you can just surf page for page for all of the areas you picked.
