Guess I'd better check it out then. I'm a sucker for ice cream!

I would go for Austin, most of Houston is full of drugs and stupid gangbangers and crap, I would chose a small town out side of Austin.

Austin ain't much better. Plus there are less jobs and the hospitals ain't that great. Plus the Austin area is full of a bunch of nut jobs. Any city that will ban business or trade with a city/state that takes a stand against illegal immigration is not a good place in my book.

the only thing austin has going for it in my book is it has a heck of a good music scene going on there.

Well guys, my sister and her family is going on Wednesday and my mother and I have decided to not deal with her drama and BS anymore and will be moving later after we've thoroughly researched some places and find a place to live instead of going down there blind so to speak.

We're not wanting to live in any big city(Houston, Austin, or otherwise) but would like to find a smaller town outside but fairly near a big city. I like being about an hour or so out from the one we're near now and I personally would like something similar there. What's it like around San Antonio?
