For the most part anywhere south of I-20 is a good place to move. I live in the northern tip and it a big windy wasteland with no money or jobs, it been blowing 45mph+ for 2 weeks with 65mph gusts. Stick around the civilized places like DFW, Austin, Houston or San Antionio. As far as medical, the closest thing up here is Texas Tech 100 miles away in Lubbock. They have really good medical stuff but I don't think its anything that you are looking for.

Central Texas is the best, Hill country. I wont have it any other way. Houston blows its humid and has a bunch of well.....you know. Dallas is the same except its COLD. San Antonio is also nice. I live in a lake community, im about a football field away from the lake. You can drive any direction and run into a lake and beautiful hills.

St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. No child is ever denied treatment because of the family’s inability to pay.
idk if you never heard about st jude, but people come from all over the country to get help, they are committed to cancer research
