Funny you say that. The only reason I was reading this whole thread was to see if someone had already mentioned that in a lot of places a "truck" is a big rig and a Dodge is a pickup. A lot of truck drivers are annoyed by people that call pickups trucks. Where I live a pickup is a pickup and a Pete is a truck. I don't get pissed off about it though, especially not enough to post on internet message boards.

 

I got a bronco and I refer to it as a Truck all the time. I do this why? Because my bronco can stand up to any similar trucks. I have no carpet in my bed. I haul engines, axles, scrap steel, transmissions, and anything else i can fit back there. I actually haul more in my bronco than my friends do with their trucks.
