Very true......with my race car I just threw a cover on it and periodically pulled it off to reminisce about the good times....then sold it later for about 1/10th of what I had in it.

My dad has a 97 12v single cab 4x4 for his ranch truck and I think it would be awesome to turn that truck into a pulling truck. The Initial cost wouldnt be too bad. But when it breaks, and breaks, and breaks, I would just have to get rid of it for almost nothing because I caoult afford to fix anything else.

well Id really rather have been prepared for it.. its when you dont see it coming.... its not all that fun.........you know that pit in your stomach feeling.....yea.. I crashed last year. My 6.5 cheby hit a cement barrer.. 8 months pregnant,, not fun......

you have absolutely no control of anything that is going to happen on a track, sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you get the wall, for the best description of what its like watch the movie "DAYS OF THUNDER", one of the best racing movies made.....
